I am considering visiting Pecs for a day's excursion during my next trip to Budapest. Are there any other places near Pecs or on the train route from Budapest to Pecs that you recommend I visit? Thanks very much.
Hi, I don't know if you know how to get to Pecs or not, but there's not much in between Budapest and Pecs. It's also about a 3 hours train ride, on the Intercity train, don't take the Sebes, it takes about 6 hours to get there, and it's horrible. But Pecs is so nice. Just go to the main square and walk around and you can see the cathedral and stuff and the turkish mosque. I really recommend that you go there.
