A big problem is that most people have a custom to shit in water closets. With al or technology available to day we have not found a smell free comfortable disposal way for excrement that works without big costs and without water. The water closet is a heritage from ancient Greek culture and is basically the same to day. Works as a mayor polluter of waterways, the solution of to day is big energy consuming purification plants. This is a challenge for next generation to tackle.
