We just found your message asking for advice on cycling from Denmark to Sweden. How did you get on? Did you find any good websites/maps/trails?
We will also be camping and hope eventually to go on to finland. If we dont hear from you we'll assume you are already on your way to australia!!

Hi !

Sounds like a great vaccation you got planned there !
There are many nice bikepaths and camping grounds in Sweden and I don´t think you should have any bigger problems finding them. The Swedish tourist association has got a really nice homepage at: http://www.meravsverige.nu/. (Its available in both english and German).
A tip is to travel along Vättern and then from Vättern along Göta kanal heading north. It´s a very beautiful scenary. If you get tired you could hitchhike with a boat ;)

Hope you´ll have a very nice trip !
/Nina

Thanks for the tip Nina. I'll have a look on the map tonight to see where you mean. I can't wait - by the end of this trip I'll be super fit. Might be necessary because we're thinking about cycling from England to Australia in a few years time. Bloody Hell, now that's a long way! Thank God you can't cycle to the moon otherwise that would be next!!
Cheers, Smugley.
