For people interested in animal rights and stopping big companies like McDonalds from wrecking the world it is important to understand that many of their clients and customers are actually misled as to their religion's approcal for easting there
I am talking about Christians in particular
The Bible says in Proverbs 12:10 that "the Righteous man cares for the needs of his animals but the kindest acts of the wicked are cruel..."This according to even conservative Christian leaders like Reverend Fred Nile the foremost Christian politicians in Australia from the Christian democrats political party means that ll those who engage in modern factory farming practices of Chickens, Pigs and many other animals is an act of wickedness or a sin. He agrees moreover that all who partake in that process of producing the meat are responsable for that sin. so the person that farms the animal, the one that transpostrs it, the one that wholesales it , the one that retails it and the one that eats it - all share the sin
Furthermore Jesus says that whosever shall lead any of these young one to sin- it is better to have a millstone put round their neck and they be thrown into the depths of the sea."
Therefore it can be seen that the best way forward for animal rights activists is to ally themselves with genuine Christians to inform the other Christians not to sin or lead others to sin as this would destroy 50 % of multinationals like Mcdonalds business
Best wishes
