Latest Post  Good International Films  [20-Oct-2006]
posted by: climberdude  iNote iAmigo reply to post

I am a student in the United States and work in the University Library where we have many international films and have come to really enjoy the international productions. A few I liked were:
Waking of Ned Devine, I think it is Irish
To Live - Chinese
Raise the Red Lantern - Chinese
Egg - I think it is Norwiegian
A Auto Da Compadecida - Brazilian

I realize only a limited number of films from other countries make it to the united states, so I thought I would throw this out and see if any of you from around the world could recommend any good films, or what they find to be good movies. I would also like to know what others think of the "American"/ "Hollywood" movies compared to productions made in other countries. I think this is a good discussion and am interested to know what people think, post away.
